Duggar Family Makes Christmas Ornaments Together
Christmas is right around the corner. Celebrities are celebrating the holiday and enjoying all the festivities with their families too. Via social media, there should be plenty of holiday posts from reality stars and other celebrities. The Duggar family recently shared a post about one of their holiday activities. In the post, the family didn’t mention whether they do this every year. But, it could be a tradition, or maybe they’re starting a new tradition.
On the Duggar family Instagram page, the family wrote, “A few days ago we had a fun afternoon making salt dough ornaments! 🤗🎄 What are some special activities you like to do with your kids during the holidays?”
The family shared a series of photos of the kids making salt dough ornaments. They also shared a separate post featuring a video of the fun activity. In the video and pictures, fans can see Josh and Anna’s kids. Plus, Joy-Anna is there with Gideon. Jim Bob and Michelle’s youngest child, Josie, is making ornaments too.

The Duggar kids are using all kinds of utensils, like cookie cutters and rolling pins. They’re getting help from Michelle. Joy-Anna is helping Gideon make a handprint ornament. In one picture, Josh and Anna’s daughter, Meredith, poses with her grandma, Michelle, to show off the ornaments she made.
Fans love this activity
In the comments sections of the two posts, fans are loving the family’s festivities. Some of the fans left their own traditions in the comments section. Others wanted to know what recipe the Duggar family used to make the salt dough ornaments. The family has yet to reply, but other fans are sharing their own recipes.
Perhaps Duggar fans will try this own activity with their children or grandchildren. As shown in the family’s video, kids of all ages can enjoy making ornaments.

How does the Duggar family celebrate Christmas?
As 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On fans know, the Duggar family members are Christians. In an older blog post, Michelle wrote about the family’s festivities. The mom of 19 wrote,
“It’s an exciting time. We decorate. It’s a big birthday party for Jesus. We make banners and put them all around the house and put out our nativity scene. We’ve got a big beautiful nativity that has the Christ child in the manger, Joseph and Mary and some of the wise men and the shepherds. That goes out on our counter and then we surround it with pretty white lights. And so, that’s our big emphasis. We kept that idea out of the whole celebration, we explained to the children who Santa Claus was historically, but focused on his good deeds and his ministering to children. We tell them about the true person of Saint Nicholas, but we don’t sensationalize him.”
