‘Unpolished’ Season Finale Airs On TLC Sunday, December 22
The first season finale of TLC‘s new show, Unpolished, airs on Sunday, December 22. You can watch the finale episode at 11/10c on TLC. It’s also available on TLC’s website and the TLC Go app.
On social media Sunday, Lexi Martone, one of the stars of Unpolished, promoted the season finale. She says, “don’t miss tonight’s season finale of #Unpolished at 11pm! 📺 ”
Then, the star hints at what goes down during the finale, saying, “watch me play scientist and see if I don’t need to be the maid of horror after all.🤷🏻♀️”

What is Unpolished about?
According to TLC, “The Martones are a loud, fun-loving Italian family from Long Island. Sisters Lexi, a talented nail artist, and Bria, a hair colorist/makeup artist, run Salon Martone while juggling family dynamics, over the top clients, and their own relationships.”
Of course, as with any TLC show, there’s plenty of drama to go around. That’s what keeps viewers watching.
The family members all have big personalities. Fans of the show have been quick to choose favorites and least favorites too. Overall, fans seem to enjoy watching the cast, whether they like the cast or not.
What do fans think of Unpolished?
TLC fans have mixed feelings about the show. Some like it and hope to see a second season. Others think it should be canceled and would rather watch other TLC shows. When TLC revealed that the season finale is airing, here’s what a few fans said:

A couple of viewers voiced that they aren’t fans of the show. One said, “Nah! I like Smothered over this show.” Another added, “Who cares- please turn this off”.

Will there be another season?
The show only had six episodes in its first season. Sometimes, TLC does this to test the waters. They want to make sure a show will perform well before they commit to a regular-length season. Because of this, some fans are having a hard time believing that the first season is already coming to a close.
Sometimes, TLC also airs two short seasons rather than one long one. It’s unclear what they’re doing with Unpolished.
Right now, TLC has not announced which of its shows will be returning and which will not. So, TLC has yet to give fans an update on Unpolished. There are other shows whose renewals or cancellations have yet to be announced too.
