Raquel Leviss Voluntarily Getting Help For Mental Health

Raquel Leviss is voluntarily getting help to aid with her mental health. The Vanderpump Rules star has been under fire since early March for her affair with Tom Sandoval. This would not have been such a big deal had Sandoval not been in a nine-year relationship with their co-star, Ariana Madix. Plus, Ariana and Raquel were best friends so it was a shock heard ’round the Bravo-verse. So, what led Raquel to seek help? Read on for more details.

Raquel Leviss Voluntarily Getting Help For Mental Health

The night that Raquel Leviss and Scheana Shay were on WWHL together, Ariana found out about the affair. She called Raquel to confront her and Scheana soon found out. She has been close to Madix for many years and was livid about the situation. It was alleged by Raquel that Scheana soon became physical with her. The former pageant girl even filed a temporary restraining order against Shay. This ultimately prohibited them from filming together at the Season 10 reunion. Furthermore, it was rumored that Raquel shot just one additional scene since the scandal went down.

Recently, she was seen leaving Tom Sandoval’s home which he shares with Ariana, carrying several bags. However, his rep maintains it was not a sleepover but a quick drop-in. Tom recently went on Howie Mandel’s podcast to share his side of the story and said that he and Raquel Leviss were taking a break. It seems like there is a good reason for that. According to ET, Raquel has entered a facility to get her mental health in check. However, it was not a snap decision, per her rep: “Raquel and her family decided before the relationship was discovered that she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling.”

Apparently, Raquel was actually supposed to start treatment prior to the Season 10 reunion. Yet, she opted to wait until after as she wanted to fulfill her obligations. “Bravo and production were aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health,” Leviss’ rep adds. It has also been noted that she is not being treated for substance abuse issues. There had been talks about her partying this season, especially when she went on a girls’ trip to Las Vegas.

What’s Next For Raquel?

There is no word on how long Raquel Leviss will be in treatment. Furthermore, it seems that none of her co-stars care to comment on the situation. In fact, Scheana Shay and Lala Kent both put Lala’s face over Raquel’s in their personal photos. Shay added Lala in as a bridesmaid to cover up Leviss. Kent put herself in a photo she had taken with Raquel, as well yet someone fixed it and added in Lala’s daughter, brother, and mother.
