Teen Mom star Jade Cline is sharing a very raw message regarding drug-addicted parents. She has repeatedly given her mother and father more chances than maybe they deserve. Jade Cline Shares Raw Message About Drug-Addicted Parents

Jade Cline is opening up about what is going on with her parents right now. According to Starcasm, both her mother, Christy, and stepfather, Michael entered individual rehab facilities. They have been dealing with drug issues for years now, prior to Jade appearing on Young and Pregnant. Unfortunately, it ended up getting them into a lot of trouble and now they cannot avoid getting help any longer. Jade Cline shared a message with her TikTok followers regarding the status of her parents.

She explained that she did this because she wanted the information to come from her rather than anyone else. Admittedly, the three have not been doing great over the past six months. Unfortunately, Jade staying away from her parents messed with them being able to be open and honest with one another. “I’ve learned a lot about loving and addict, and I’ve learned a lot about boundaries. It’s important to do what you need to do for your own mental health, and for your own family’s health and happiness,” Jade explained.

More so, she went on to share that she recently had her parents over for dinner. This was to “have a discussion about rehabilitation and what that looks like for them and if that’s a possibility for them — if that’s something they were open to.” Fortunately, both Christy and Michael agreed. “Thankfully, my mom and dad both said that they thought rehabilitation was something that they really needed to get their lives back on track.” All she is hoping for is positive vibes toward her and her family which is completely fair and doable.

Past Struggles

Those familiar with Jade Cline and who have followed her journey are well aware that this has been an ongoing struggle. In 2019, Christy and Michael were both arrested. This included possession of meth and the only reason this was discovered was that there were reports of one possibly overdosing as they slept in their car. Jade later explained on Kailyn Lowry and Lindsie Chrisley’s podcast Coffee & Convos that her parents were more prone to binging drugs. It looks like this will be a long road to recovery but a much-needed one. Hopefully, Christy and Michael do what is best for themselves and their family.
