Luckily, Season 2 was already confirmed and under production. The anime follows Voldigoad, who is a reincarnated Demon King Of Tyranny.

Throughout Season 1, he tried to prove his identity to others. The prime reason for this confusion was a convoluted plot by the reincarnated hero. He hoped to spare Voldigoad hatred of humanity by sacrificing himself instead by disguising himself as the fake Demon King Of Tyranny, Avos Dilhevia.

The Misfit Of Demon King’s New Villain Is 2000-Year-Old

Although the debut season ended on a positive note, it doesn’t seem like Anos and his friends will have a chance to enjoy this peace for long. Season 2 Episode 1 revealed that Erdomaid DittiJohn, the new homeroom teacher in Anos’ class, has a secret identity. He was one of the original Four Evil Royals. They were a group of Demons that lived alongside the Demon King 2000 years ago and were second to him in rank. The 2000-year-old demon took over Erdomaid’s body and is on a mission to kill Anos.

As per CBR.com, Erdomaid is possessed by the father of all gods or the Heavenly Father God NousGallia. However, his attempts to kill Anos require a lot of planning as rarely anyone is capable of standing up to him. Within moments, Anos kills the god and even brings him back to life with just a fraction of his power. He also ensures that NousGallia’s power doesn’t destroy anything at his funeral reception. And hilariously, class resumes as normal.

However, the threat hasn’t passed away yet. The Four Evil Royals are now in alliance with NousGallia to kill Anos. In order to do so, they have started targeting and even attacking the Demon King Of Tyranny’s friend. However, that is just a small part of their big ploy. Anos soon learns that his demise will be at the hands of a Child Of God, who is a divine vessel. As of now, there are no details of who this divine vessel is.
