Michelle Young Embraces Lessons Of 2022, Ready For 2023
Former Bachelorette Michelle Young had a rough 2022. She and her final rose winner Nayte Olukoya ended their engagement in June 2022. It was all a shock to Michelle and she insinuated she was blindsided. So far she’s not been back out into the dating world or at least not in the public eye. However, as 2022 comes to a close, she’s looking back and embracing the lessons she learned in 2022. She’s now ready to jump into 2023 with open arms. Keep reading to find out more.
Bachelorette Michelle Young learned a lot in 2022
US Weekly shared what Michelle Young had to say about 2022 and what she’s taking from all her experiences. She shared photos on Instagram from Mexico and said, “2022 ended a lot different than I originally pictured but it ended exactly as it was intended and I couldn’t be more thankful for all that I learned.”
She also went on to share a little more with fans. Michelle listed some of the valuable lessons she learned last year that she will hold close to her heart. She said, “Learning how to give yourself closure instead of looking for it from others is one of the most powerful tools someone can possess. You take on the energy of those who you spend the most time with. Choose wisely. It’s okay to work hard and chase your dreams in silence. That being said, it’s also ok to show the world all sides of you.”
This wasn’t all that was shared. She went on to share more by talking about walking into 2023. She said, “You are more than the labels the internet or others place on you. Incredibly thankful to walk into 2023 with a clear mind and I appreciate all who have continued to support me.”
She’s become close with Rachel Recchia
Michelle wasn’t alone on her trip to Mexico. Bachelorette Rachel Recchia was also there. The two have made it known that they have become close friends. They have supported one another through their hard times. Rachel even noted on Michelle’s post that she couldn’t have made it through without her.
Late last year, Rachel was asked if she would ever head to Mexico for Bachelor in Paradise. Rachel said the only way she would ever consider it is if Michelle joined her on the beach.
These two single ladies are living their best life and overcoming the hard times that struck them both in 2022.
