Former NFL Star Antonio Brown Avoids Jail Time, How?
Former NFL star Antonio Brown somehow avoided jail time after his latest domestic battery allegations. This might have come as a surprise to many people, but Brown won’t even have charges pressed at all.
Here is what happened with Brown’s recent legal problems.
Prosecutors drop charges against Antonio Brown
Florida prosecutors dropped an arrest warrant against former Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown. The prosecutors chose not to pursue the case in a case involving alleged domestic battery involving a woman.
The reported incident took place on November 28 when Brown and the woman had a verbal argument. Police report that the argument turned into a physical confrontation. The police also reported that Brown allegedly threw a shoe at the woman and then he locked her out of the home.
However, after reviewing the case, TMZ reported prosecutors chose not to follow through and Brown will not face charges. This was because investigators wanted a sworn statement under oath from the woman and she recanted her allegations. If she had given the statement, the incident could have resulted in a felony.
Investigators also analyzed the information provided by the woman and looked at the body camera video from the scene. They also looked into the Child Protective Services investigation and the denial of a protective order. They said they couldn’t prove “beyond a reasonable doubt a battery took place.”
Antonio Brown facing other possible legal troubles
Antonio Brown has been a lightning rod for controversy over the last few years. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded their star receiver, a trade which he forced. However, the Oakland Raiders ended up voiding his guarantee after a confrontation with the team’s general manager.
Brown then went on to play with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, but this ended when sexual and personal misconduct allegations arose against him. He threatened to retire but changed his mind. The NFL suspended him for the allegations, and he eventually returned to play with Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.
While he won a Super Bowl with the team in the 2020 season, he ended up waived in 2021 when he took off his uniform and shoulder pads in the middle of a game and walked off the field in the middle of the game.
That leads to his new legal problems. Tom Brady has allegedly sent Brown several text messages showing concern for his old teammate and offering his help. Brown seems to feel insulted by this and has publically posted the text messages.

It's not the first time @AB84 has done this, while he's trying to paint Brady in a bad light, these DMs actually show Brady attempting to help Brown as a friend.

Brown knows he faces some legal problems if Tom Brady tires of his games. He followed that post up with a new one where he tried to cover his butt.
I @AB84 denied for record and on record that “Antonio Brown Releases Another Private Message From Tom Brady” hard proof demand for record and on record under penalty of perjury and 18 U.S. Code § 1001.
