Carlin Bates’ Baby Zade Reaches Special Milestone
Former Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates’ baby Zade has reached a very special milestone. Zade Patrick Stewart is now seven months old and is learning all kinds of new things. One recent accomplishment was especially important, however, and his proud grandmother Kelly Jo Bates shared all about it. Continue reading to find out more about this milestone.
Zade is the second child of Evan and Carlin. The couple also has a daughter named Layla Rae, who will turn three in January. On YouTube and Instagram, the couple keeps fans in the loop about their lives and shares many photos and videos of their growing kids.
As we recently reported, Carlin Bates revealed that Zade is officially on the move. He also went on his very first camping trip this fall. And now, he’s met another huge milestone.
Carlin Bates’ Baby Zade Reaches Special Milestone
So far, Carlin hasn’t posted on social media about this milestone, but her mother Kelly Jo Bates has. Over the weekend, Kelly Jo revealed to fans that she attended Zade’s baby dedication at church. It looks like several of Evan’s relatives made it into town for the occasion as well.
Carlin Bates’ mom noted, “It feels like just yesterday that I was attending Layla’s dedication!”
Later in her post, Kelly Jo Bates offered an explanation of what a baby dedication service is. She said that she received many questions about it a couple of years ago when Layla was dedicated. So, she shared more about it this time too. The proud grandmother wrote:
“It’s a special service where the parents are prayed for, and their entire family is lifted up in prayer because the parents are well aware that raising a child is an incredible and often difficult responsibility. It’s also a time where the parents are publicly acknowledging that God has given them an amazing gift and task, and they are committing to seek His guidance as they raise their precious little blessing.”
