Robin Roberts bragged about her jet-setting family life. She poked fun at her lifestyle as she shared a special moment during the live show. Robin couldn’t help but talk about their luxury method of travel that most families don’t get to experience. The latest broadcast of Good Morning America mentioned the new roadway that services Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport.

Robin has a special connection to the terminal. She revealed that it’s named after her father. The 61-year-old revealed that Newark didn’t notice the connection between Col Roberts Road and the television personality. They were looking for a New Jersey native and named it after her father.

Robin Roberts shares a special family moment

During the broadcast of GMA, Robin Roberts revealed that the airport invited her and her siblings to take part in the special moment. Her co-host George Stephanopoulos shared that it gives them something good to think about every time they “drive into Newark.” Robin gushed about the new terminal.

She admitted that the honor was about her father. Robin shared that the Port Authority didn’t make the connection at first. The news anchor poked fun at her lavish lifestyle. She joked that she will “fly commercial” the next time around. George and Michael Strahan had a good laugh over her joke.

Robin Roberts admitted: “I’m joking!” Michael then added: “It’s really great to see you and your family together celebrating your dad.”

GMA co-host also has a private office

Not only does Robin Roberts have a private jet, but she also has her own private office. Every morning before she co-hosts GMA, she shares a morning prayer and special message with her fans on Instagram. Thursday is dedicated to Thankful Thursdays where she asks her GlamFam what they’re thankful for.

In the latest installment of her morning message, Robin Roberts unveiled her new private office. She showed off the items in her office such as the pillows. Some of them had fun sayings such as “Yas Kween,” “Brighter By the Day,” and “This Is My Happy Place.”

She showed off her new office after she returned from a health scare. Robin shared that she went silent on social media because she was confined to her home. She had a scary case of laryngitis that was hard on her. Robin joked that she wishes that it was from “partying over the weekend,” but she ended up getting sick.
