‘Unexpected’ Jason Korpi Fills Fans In On Court Drama
Unexpected fans are well-aware that Jason Korpi has a lot of drama. He was called out repeatedly for being both manipulative and abusive during Season 5. Then, off-camera, he had to face 11 counts in court, which he did not show up for. Many viewers hoped that he would finally have to pay up for his horrific behavior. Now there are some answers from Jason himself. What was the ultimate outcome? Read on for more details.
An Unexpected Turn Of Events
Jason Korpi was due back in court in May which he did not show up for. A bench warrant was issued and then two weeks later, a new arraignment date was scheduled for June 28th. Ultimately, he pleaded not guilty and a trial management conference was set up for August 30th. It was then moved to November 1st (today) and it seems to have gone well. According to a screengrab from a comment shared by @tlc.unexpectedteaa, the father of one had news.
He wrote this: “Ayo just an update for everyone that wanted one on my court stuff I’m a free man haha pays off to be on TLC ig.” He followed up with a shrugged shoulders, dead, and laughing crying emoji. Now, just because he is free does not mean there is not more to the story. He may have had to pay a fine or something else. There just may not be any actual jail time for him. As for the fans who read this, they had their own opinions.
“Update no one asked for,” one person wrote. Another followed it up with: “Pays off for now… until it happens again. I never comment anything negative but this KID irritates me so much. And yes I said kid cause that’s exactly how he acts.” Finally, a follower noted: “Oh good so he gets no consequences for his dumb decisions and still is a narcissist. Got it.”
Is It His Fault?
Unexpected fans have been really frustrated that there has been nothing about Season 6 yet. They are starting to wonder if it has something to do with Jason. He was so horrid to his girlfriend, Kylen last year, they started a Reddit thread about how they believe he caused the show’s demise. It also makes casting a lot harder because the producers have to screen the prospective cast members much more closely.
They had put out a call over the summer for teens and then just again in the last few weeks. As of now, Tiarra Boisseau and family will not be returning after joining in Season 3. Newcomer Emersyn Potter is open to returning and Jason alleges he and Kylen quit.
