‘Unexpected’: Hailey’s Baby Kinsley Is Hospitalized
Unexpected fans know that things have been rocky between Hailey Tomlinson and Matthew Blevins. The couple was young when Hailey had their baby, Kinsley. Now, Kinsley is almost seven months old.

On the TLC show, fans saw Matthew leave Hailey for her best friend, whose name is also Hailey. Now, the friend is referred to as “Hailey 2”. There are rumors that she and Matthew are expecting. With or without this new rumor, there is plenty of drama between Hailey 1 and Matthew.
It seems like Hailey 1’s life isn’t getting any easier though. Right now, she is in the hospital with Kinsley. Unexpected fans are speculating that Kinsley has respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV. According to the CDC, RSV “is a common respiratory virus that usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms. Most people recover in a week or two, but RSV can be serious, especially for infants and older adults.”
On Wednesday afternoon, she provided an update via her Instagram stories. She shared a picture of Kinsley in a hospital crib. She’s hooked up the all kinds of wires and tubes. Along with the picture, the Unexpected mom writes, “Just updating you all, kinsley’s breathing still hasn’t improved but the good thing is that she’s still smiling and playing. she’s a tough girl.”
This is a lot for young mom Hailey to handle on her own. Because of this, she reached out to Kinsley’s father, Matthew. Of course, Hailey’s mom is probably there to support her daughter during this challenging time.
Unexpected Matthew responds to Kinsley in hospital
When Hailey contacted Matthew about Kinsley being in the hospital, he reacted angrily. In the text messages that were released, Hailey sends him her location so he can go to the hospital. She says, “Matthew she’s your daughter… at least try please”. In response, he says, “You act like she’s dying , I know who’s kid she is . I told you maybe”. When Hailey explained that it was important for him to be with his sick child, he said that he has “other things to do first”.
It’s unclear whether Matthew finally showed up at the hospital to visit Kinsley. Based on the text messages, Unexpected fans aren’t hopeful that he’s going to pull through to visit his daughter. Fans also think that Hailey is having a hard time on her own and could use the help from Kinsley’s father.
