Which ‘Sister Wives’ Stars Support Audrey Kriss’ Transition?
Sister Wives fans first met Audrey Kriss as Leon Brown’s girlfriend from college. Over time, the two developed a strong relationship that blossomed and grew. After a few years of dating, the two got engaged. As far as fans know, Leon and Audrey aren’t yet married. However, there are still many changes ahead for the couple.
Both Leon and Audrey identified as female when they appeared on Sister Wives together. But now, they’re both proudly out as trans people and both use they/them pronouns.
Last year, Audrey announced they underwent top surgery. But just how many Sister Wives stars support Audrey’s transition journey? The Browns are a pretty conservative family, so fans are curious to know who supports Audrey and who doesn’t.
Audrey Kriss celebrates one year after receiving top surgery
Publically, no member of the Brown family had negative things to say about Audrey’s transition. However, it’s entirely possible that things are being said behind closed doors. Family patriarch Kody Brown didn’t have an issue when Leon and Audrey began dating. But it’s possible he might feel differently about gender-confirming surgery.
Either way, Audrey Kriss happily announced this week that it’s been an entire year since they received top surgery. Fans flooded the comments section with supportive messages. But which Sister Wives figures showed up?
Although Meri Brown struggled to accept Leon and Audrey’s relationship at first, she’s really come leaps and bounds. She was one of the first to show love and support to Audrey. Many other members of the Brown family “liked” Audrey’s post too. Leon liked the post as well as their sisters, Ysabel, Gwendlyn, and Mykelti. Gwendlyn is also part of the LGBTQ+ community and recently announced she moved in with her girlfriend.
However, this isn’t a comprehensive list. Christine Brown showed support for Audrey and Leon as soon as they confirmed their romance. It’s entirely likely that more members of the Brown family support Audrey’s transition.
Meri Brown wants to support and protect the couple
Audrey Kriss announced they identified as transgender a while ago. However, Leon just came out this summer. And this time, Meri knew just how to respond to her child’s announcement.
“I freaking love you and @audreykriss,” the Sister Wives star shared on Leon’s post. Many fans appreciated how supportive Meri was this time.
Kody Brown has been relatively quiet about Leon and Audrey’s transitions. However, he may share his thoughts when Sister Wives returns for Season 17 on September 11. But knowing Kody, many fans don’t believe he will be quite so caring and compassionate.
