Ryan Seacrest Having Deja Vu With Lisa Rinna?

Ryan Seacrest was having a major case of deja vu with Lisa Rinna. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was the latest celebrity guest host to fill in for Kelly Ripa this past weekend. This is the second week that the former soap star went missing from her seat.

She’s expected to make a huge career change. Meanwhile, rumors keep swirling that Kelly plans to leave the talk show lifestyle behind. She’s currently staying in the Hamptons with her husband Mark Consuelos where they’ve been working on new projects and playing in the sand.

Does Lisa Rinna remind Ryan Seacrest of Kelly Ripa?

It’s likely that Ryan Seacrest is missing his co-host. In a recent broadcast of Live With Kelly and Ryan, he told Rinna that she “reminds him of Kelly Ripa.” On the Wednesday, August broadcast, the American Idol host complimented his co-host. The Bravo star talked about her marriage to Harry Hamlin.

The couple still got it after all this time. Age is not a factor when it comes to their bedroom activities. Rinna was serious when she talked about how their marriage works. She simply said that it just does.

“It just works. I think that what he does and he likes, I’m super-attracted to, and I’m interested in,” Rinna told Ryan Seacrest. “Look at what I do. Kooky reality person. I wouldn’t even know.”

The Rinna Beauty founder asked her co-host to “describe” her. Seacrest thought about it before he admitted that she “reminds him of Kelly Ripa.” At first, he commended her for being a terrific mom and wife.

“You’re a great parent. You’re a great wife,” Ryan Seacrest started to say.

“Well?” Rinna said, unimpressed.

“You’re all those amazing things,” Seacrest simply said.

“Thank you. I’ll take it,” Rinna responded.

“You remind me of Kelly in so many ways,” Ryan Seacrest added. “Oh! Thank you!” Rinna exclaimed as the audience clapped. “That’s a huge compliment. I think Harry gets a huge kick out of me.”

The bubbly ladies are good friends

The Days of Our Lives alum and the All My Children alum are good friends. It makes sense since both of them made their start on daytime soaps. Lisa Rinna and Kelly Ripa have maintained their friendship over the decades. Some fans may not know that the two go way back.

Since then, the two ended up in different industries. Kelly is a talk show host and producer, while Rinna is a reality TV fixture. During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Kelly talked about their friendship.

“I mean, I like Lisa Rinna, I’ve known her for so long. Because we all started out on soaps together. I really like her,” she explained.
