Kim Kardashian got major backlash for pushing mediocre products. This time it stems from her new swimwear line. Kim has taken a page out of Kylie Jenner’s book by having her own swimsuit collection. As fans recall, Kylie’s brand Kylie Swim ended as soon as it started.

Fans didn’t like the range of bikinis and swimsuits. They claimed the material was cheap and thin. Ultimately, Kylie Swim went away quietly like most of the failed Kardashian-Jenner ventures in the past. Since Skims is still going strong, this shouldn’t be the case with her swimwear collection.

Kim Kardashian launches new swimwear line

Kim Kardashian has been slipping into a lot of metallic pieces lately. That’s because the reality star launched a whole new metallic swimwear line. However, fans aren’t loving the look. They claim that it looks too “ugly” and “cheap” for being so “overpriced.”

Kim has been modeling most of the looks on social media. She even shared several snapshots of herself wearing the new metallic bikini, which is sure to turn heads. The platinum blonde television personality lived out her inner Pam Anderson fantasy. She wore a gold metallic string bikini, which her blonde hair styled like a glamour model.

In another shot, she wore a silver metallic crop top with a matching sarong. Kim stood in the doorway on her phone with two white poodles at her legs. She teased her blonde hair in voluminous waves. She also wore bold makeup and colorful jewelry in the ad campaign, which is a blast from the past.

The new swimwear line already has bad reviews. Some fans think the pieces are “overpriced” and “questionable.” They wouldn’t rely on the brand to bring it when it comes to high-quality swimwear.

Continues to release cheap products?

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Kim Kardashian was slammed for her cheap SKKN collection. Fans think it’s as bad as her platinum blonde hair. Some took to Reddit to share that they’re tired of the poor-quality products she keeps pushing on them. Especially since it costs more than most retail stores.

Despite the backlash, Skims received praise in the past for its comfortable loungewear and shapewear items. Not all of the Kardashian ventures are duds. Khloe Kardashian’s Good American brand has gotten rave reviews for its denim range. Even with all the backlash, the ladies must be doing something right.
