‘1000-Lb. Best Friends’: Meghan’s Fiance Suffers A Knife Wound
1000-Lb. Best Friends follows a group of four women as they try to lose weight together. The season might be over for now, but fans still want to know what’s going on with the cast members. Unfortunately, star Meghan Crumpler has some bad news to share.

1000-Lb. Best Friends stars reported an accident within their home
The 1000-Lb. Best Friends stars have a lot of fun together. But sometimes, accidents happen. Meghan Crumpler recently reported that her fiance John had an incident with a knife — and there wasn’t a whole lot the hospital could do to fix it.
Fortunately, it seems like John is going to make a full recovery. He might just be a little uncomfortable for a while.
“So they can’t do anything.. he sliced the tip of the corner off .. antibiotics & wraps atm . Yes 😂 sadly it is the middle finger,” Meghan captioned the photo of her fiance John.
“Oh goodness praying for his recovery but also lmao at your caption,” Meghan’s costar Ashely wrote.
“Now he has an excuse to flip the bird to people who piss him off lol,” joked one of Meghan’s followers.
Plenty of other fans chimed in that they’ve had similar experiences. Everyone is glad that John will make a full recovery, but it definitely looks painful!
Did Meghan Crumpler and John ever get their own place?
Fans that tuned into the first season of 1000-Lb. Sisters probably noticed that Meghan’s living situation was a little complicated. She and her fiance John moved in with Tina Arnold’s family. There were several people living under one roof in a smaller house. It wasn’t an ideal situation, but everyone seemed okay with the setup.
So did Meghan and John ever get their own place?
According to social media posts, it appears that Meghan still lives with Tina.
“Folding clothes for 8. A chore that follows you everywhere – no matter what. 😆” Tina posted on Instagram. She snapped a photo of Meghan sitting in a massive laundry pile and sorting things.
“Oh my heavens! Lol😂 you caught me folding clothes at my worst,” Meghan replied in the comments.
No one is sure if there will be a second season of 1000-Lb. Best Friends yet. But fans really hope that TLC opts to renew the show for another season. Many people really appreciated the friendship the women shared. It also portrayed weight loss and life struggles in a pretty relatable light.
