’90 Day Fiance’: Usman ‘Sojaboy’ Umar Livid, Threatens TLC To Expose Truth
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days star Usman ‘Sojaboy’ Umar is furious with TLC, the network that airs the popular reality franchise. Now in his second season, he feels extremely disrespected and is sounding off on social media. He has all but spoken his truth and is literally shedding light in his own tell-all of sorts. What is real and what was made up for entertainment value? Sojaboy weighs in.
Sojaboy Looks For His 90 Day Fiance Love- Again
Viewers first met Usman when he appeared in Season 4 of Before the 90 Days with Lisa Hamme. They were quite mismatched as she was about twenty years his senior. Despite this, they two fell in love online and she flew to Nigeria to see what could happen with the rapper. He liked her enough though she was not perfect. Furthermore, she had severe jealousy issues over watching his fans gush over him. She would see them liking him on social media or sending him messages and it would shoot her through the roof. This caused a lot of issues between the couple plus her age did not help. He wanted children and that was what was expected of him so it took a lot to impress his mother. In the end, they wed in Nigeria.
Fast forward to Season 5. Sadly, Sojaboy and Lisa divorced and she moved on with a man she knew from her past. Now, he was back with another “older” woman named Kimberly. A super fan of his, they connected online and she flew out to Tanzania to watch him film a music video, Zara. It was not an immediate connection for him but she really tried by bringing him a PS5 and a MacBook. Eventually, they ended up being intimate and she left with Sojaboy as her boyfriend. Unfortunately, she left yet did not know he had called his ex, Zara who the song was about. She discovered this detail during part one of the tell-all but was this all staged by TLC?
The Real Story As Told By Sojaboy
Not everything is as cut and dry as television makes it seem especially on so-called reality television. When Kimberly learned her boyfriend had spoken to his ex, Zara after she left Tanzania, she walked off. Sojaboy kept calling her to come back but Kim’s son was the one who had to console her. Even the rest of the cast felt for Kim and the shock she was experiencing. However, Sojaboy has taken to Facebook to set the record straight on what really happened. First off, he claims he never even wanted to make the call to Zara in the first place. This was something that took two hours for him to be convinced to do.
More so, he wants everyone to know the timeline of the call is off, as well. “The call with Zara was 5 days out 21 days after I arrived in Zanzibar,” he shared. Somehow, he is trying to say it did not happen after she left it seems. He also wants to clear the air on the idea that Kimberly supports him. In fact, Sojaboy claims he makes more money than her. Though his followers are not totally convinced of this, he wants this to be known. He is adamant that his story is told correctly because next time, he won’t allow himself to be portrayed any other way.
Do you think Sojaboy is telling the truth or trying to save face? Let us know and don’t miss part two of the 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days tell-all on TLC.
