Holly Robinson Peete Signs Multi-Picture Deal With Hallmark
Hallmark has made an exclusive deal with Holly Robinson Peete. According to Deadline, the feel-good network has signed a multi-picture deal that “includes exclusivity on holiday movies.”
Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks commented on the deal.
Since her first movie with Hallmark in 2015, Holly’s intelligence, vulnerability and tireless advocacy work have made her one of our networks’ most beloved talents, on screen and off. We are so happy to continue making movies with Holly and to be her official home for original television movies at Christmas.
Robinson Peete shared her enthusiasm for this news. Moreover, she promised more collaborations.
Hallmark is one of the most unique and warm destinations on television, especially at Christmas, and I am so proud of the projects that we have done together these past years.
I am thrilled to continue my work with them to collaborate on creating joyful and heartfelt movies, while highlighting special stories in which viewers can truly see themselves.
Since 2015, Holly Robinson Peete has made a lot of Hallmark movies. Her first Hallmark movie was Angel Of Christmas. Then, she took the part of Michelle Lansing in the very popular Evergreen Christmas movies.
Most recently, she made Our Christmas Journey. In this highly personal movie, actor Nik Sanchez played her son. Sanchez is on the spectrum. This was important to the 21 Jump Street star, as representation is important.
Holly and her husband Rodney Peete have a 23-year-old son, RJ, who is autistic. This holiday movie was made to bring hope to others.
