‘Unexpected’ Fans Beg Kylen, Listen To Her Parents
From day one, Unexpected fans have not taken too kindly to Kylen Smith’s boyfriend, Jason Korpi. They find him controlling and possibly abusive. He has this hold over her that’s spilling over onto her relationship with her parents. Now, fans are begging the son-to-be teen mother to listen ignore her Jason and listen to her parents.
Unexpected’s Least Desirable Player
Jason has been someone viewers have not cared for since Season 5 premiered earlier this month. Though Kylen is in love with her teenage love, it was clear from the previews he was no good. Her parents were seen crying over their daughter as they were seen crying. They just wanted to see her but struggled to keep in contact. More so, they wanted to be around for their future grandchild. Behind the scenes, Jason was being investigated for physical assault allegations.
Someone spotted holes in his wall during a TikTok video and became suspicious. On camera, he appeared controlling when Kylen shared she wanted to give birth in a hospital. This was something that just made her feel more comfortable. Soon, Jason was pushing her to have a homebirth because he felt he would be left out at a hospital. “Jason should not be dictating out she should give birth. It’s her body in her experience,” a viewer responded to this. Now, fans are further encouraging Kylen to listen to her family, moreover begging her.
Listen To Your Parents
Though Kylen’s parents just want the best for her, she clearly does not see it that way. Thus she has been lashing out at them. In the end, her boyfriend, Jason has been making all of her decisions, including where she has her baby. Although she initially wanted to have her baby at the aforementioned hospital, this was not what Jason wanted. Therefore, she was doing what he wanted. This was a hard pill for her parents to swallow especially since a hospital birth would have allowed them to be there for her.
According to Meaww, fans expressed disgust with Kylen for always needing Jason’s approval to answer a question. They also begged her to just listen to her parents. “Every episode I watch I hate this Jason more and more. Girl, listen to your parents,” one fan tweeted. Another added: “Dear lord, Kylen is in such a bad situation He’s isolated her from her parents. We haven’t seen her with any friends. He’s dictating her birth plan.”
