Fans Think Kody Brown’s In Denial, Christine Will Be back?

According to Robyn, Kody Brown is still married to Christine. They never went to the church that married them to properly end the marriage. Therefore, in God’s eyes, Robyn sees them as still together. For her part, Christine has not been involved in that church for years so she has walked away from Kody and never looked back. Yet fans have noticed a glimmer of hope on Kody’s side that indicates maybe he has not quite given up.

When Kody Brown Met Christine

Kody had already been married twice when he met a young Christine. He was legally married to his first wife Meri and spiritually married to Janelle. They did not get along that well as Meri admitted to some jealousy. It was the perfect time to bring in a third wife. What he loved about Christine was how free and loving she was. She said yes to everything he asked and helped ease the tension in the house. Little did he know Meri was extremely jealous of her while Janelle thought she was a princess. In reality, Kody was not attracted to Christine and thought she was unhealthy and chubby.

Still, he appreciated her fun nature and the fact that she raised the kids and kept the home. He did not like when she finally started standing up for herself by saying no and doing what was best for her. Eventually, she contemplated leaving him. It was not working and she desperately wanted to move back to Utah where her family was. Though he claimed he was on board, he was just trying to pacify her. It pushed her further away and eventually the idea of a non-intimate marriage was too much for Christine. She packed up his stuff and eventually moved home to Utah. It appears she has never been happier.

Still Holding Out Hope

Kody Brown’s Instagram profile has been a hot topic for a bevy of reasons. Fans cannot get enough of his description. One takeaway is that he still claims he has four wives when he clearly only has three. This has left them wondering if he is still holding out hope that Christine will come back. He did say in the Season 16 finale that he was not sure if it was a joke when she threw him out. Kody claimed she had threatened it so many times before, he did not know what to make of it.

On Reddit, fans are talking about whether he still has hopes of Christine coming back. One noted that until she gets a spiritual divorce, Kody probably still thinks he can control her. They went on to add that she can’t get this divorce without him. Yet since she is not in the church anymore, it does not matter. The bottom line is Kody seemed very peeved he had to discuss Christine leaving during the tell-all. He does not want to think anyone would want to leave him but she did.
