As busy as she is with her podcast tour and prepping for the DWTS Live tour, Bristowe still manages to spill the goods about Bachelor Nation. She was a recent guest on the Pop Talks podcast. The TV personality spilled some behind-the-scenes details about that awkward Men Tell All moment.

During the special episode featuring Michelle Young and her former suitors, Kaitlyn Bristowe turned the focus on Tayshia Adams for a minute. Along with Kaitlyn, Tayshia has been co-hosting the last two seasons of The Bachelorette.

In November, news broke that Tayshia had split from her fiance, Zac Clark. The duo got engaged during Season 16 of the dating competition. At one point during the Men Tell All episode, Kaitlyn awkwardly asked Tayshia about the split, noting that her co-host wasn’t wearing an engagement ring.

A teary Tayshia revealed she was “heartbroken” over the split. As Kaitlyn introduced one of Michelle Young’s suitors to the stage, Tayshia Adams ran off in tears.

Heavy reports that fans blamed Kaitlyn for making her co-star cry. However, it seems there was more going on than viewers saw.

Instagram Bachelor Nation fan account @thatbachlexx shared what Kaitlyn discussed on the podcast. The Bachelorette co-host admitted the moment was “uncomfortable,” however, it wasn’t her decision. According to Kaitlyn, “Tayshia and the producers” were behind the awkward moment.

Bachelorette fans slam Tayshia’s intentions

Here for the right reasons is a phrase Bachelor Nation fans are familiar with. It’s usually applied to contestants who appear on the show looking for fame instead of love. While fans think Tayshia was originally “here for the right reasons,” they are questioning her motives now.

On the Instagram post from @thatbachlexx, fans called Tayshia out for seeking fame over love. In fact, it’s rumored that her seeking fame was part of the reason for the split. Check out some of the negative comments people left on the Instagram post about Tayshia:

  • Eh I don’t like how both of them promote more unnecessary drama.
  • That whole section was completely unnecessary and we could’ve just read about it.
  • It makes it make more sense. It felt like she was being put up to asking tayshia so now we know it was tayshia and producers, and not without tayshias knowledge.
  • I don’t believe for a second it wasn’t staged, including the walk off. Tayshia wanted to talk about it: keep the spotlight on me!
  • So fake. They’re the worst hosts! Awkward for all and promoting drama.
