Duggar Cousin Amy King Speaks Out After Josh’s Guilty Verdict
Duggar cousin Amy King has never been afraid to use her voice. Jim Bob Duggar’s niece has spoken out about her famous family many times over the years. But amid Josh Duggar’s child pornography arrest, she had a lot more to say.
When Amy posts about her family, she usually keeps their names out of it. But fans know what she’s talking about. When the trial began on Tuesday, November 30, Amy posted that she was praying for justice. Based on the timing, it was clear that her tweet was connected to the trial.
Since Josh’s arrest, Amy has also been seemingly urging his wife, Anna Duggar, to leave him and protect herself and her kids. However, Anna stood by Josh’s side through it all.
On Thursday, December 9, the jury reached a verdict and declared Josh guilty. He was immediately taken into custody after saying goodbye to a couple of family members in the courtroom. Though Amy wasn’t at the courthouse, she was quick to hop online and share her thoughts with fans.

In a series of tweets, Amy expressed her thoughts on Thursday’s news. In one tweet, she wrote, “May the jurors and Judge Brooks seek healing / counseling from all that was exposed to them.”
Then, she continued, “May the children grow up with real godly men as father figures who will guide and protect them. May the people who were once in disbelief have their eyes opened for the first time.”
In a second tweet, she wrote:
“May the daughters who were abused feel validated. You are truly beautiful and worthy of love. May there be intense counseling / healing. May there be wisdom for all those involved on how to move forward. Thank you Jesus. Justice has been served.”
It’s possible that Amy will continue speaking out about the trial and any other family drama going on. She recently revealed she is attempting to break her NDA so she can share more. In a shocking series of tweets, Amy stated that she was lied to for years. Now, the truth about the Duggars is coming out.
