‘Unexpected’: Jenna And Aden Over For Good?
The fifth season of Unexpected just got a release date. Yet one returning couple may not be celebrating the premiere together. It appears Jenna Ronan and her boyfriend, Aden Albright have called it quits. This should be no surprise to viewers since their relationship was riddled with lies from the beginning. Did they end on a bad note? Jenna answered some burning fan questions to give the true details.
Jenna And Aden’s Unexpected Family
Fans of TLC’s hit reality show met the couple in Season 4 when Jenna was still in high school. She was dating her high school love Aden and seemingly knew how babies were made. Aden did too but he wanted to avoid protection so he created the ultimate fib. He told Jenna that boys ovulated as girls did. She believed him and they ended up pregnant.
Instead of being mad and breaking up with him for lying to her, Jenna knew she wanted to make it work. Her main reasoning was she came from a broken home. She did not want that for her baby, as well. The two went on to welcome a baby boy, Luca. They have really tried to make it work, especially on Jenna’s behalf.
For the upcoming season, the press release shares she is still trying to make a happy life with Aden specifically for Luca. As of October, the couple still looked extremely happy and were posing on Instagram. Now, it appears the happiness has faded. What went wrong and are they in an amicable place?
Are Jenna And Aden Over?
According to Starcasm, Jenna confirmed the split the other day during an Instagram Q and A. One fan inquired if she and Aden were still together. Jenna responded: “We are separating but there are no hard feelings.” A short time before this Instagram session, Jenna had mentioned she was looking for a place for just her and her son. This may have been a subtle indication that all was not well in paradise. However, Aden was taken aback and shared it was the first he had heard of her plans.
In fact, many of the happy family photos she had posted in October have since been replaced with solo shots of her and Luca. She refers to him as her “Little bestie.” As to whether or not their split will play out on the new season is yet to be seen. It may have happened after filming so fans can only hope for a tell-all. For now, all the best goes out to both of them as they embark on this new chapter.
The new season of Unexpected premieres Sunday, March 6th on TLC.
