Anna Duggar May Have Been Forced To Announce Baby’s Birth, Here’s Why
Josh and Anna Duggar’s seventh baby is here! On Tuesday, Anna announced that the baby has arrived and revealed all of the important information. However, this announcement is somewhat confusing for a few reasons.
Anna was taking a social media hiatus, so the news came as a surprise. She posted for the first time since April to announce the baby’s birth. Additionally, she announced it out of the blue almost one month after the baby was born. So, what could possibly be the reason that Anna chose to announce the birth when she did? Read on to find out everything we know so far.
As we already reported, Anna gave birth to a new baby, Madyson Lily, on October 23. Madyson joins her six older siblings, Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, and Maryella. The news of the baby’s birth comes just before Josh’s trial in his child pornography case, which is set for November 30.
Why did Anna Duggar announce the baby’s birth when she did?
There are lots of reasons that Anna might have chosen to announce Madyson’s birth when she did. However, no one in the Duggar family has confirmed anything, so there is no way to know for sure.
It’s been speculated that the Duggar family is planning to make several announcements leading up to Josh’s trial in hopes of distracting fans and critics from the results. So, it’s possible that the family urged Anna to share the news to help take the attention off of the trial.
As we reported, shortly before Anna posted the announcement photo on Instagram, her sister-in-law Jessa Seewald uploaded a new YouTube video. In the video, a baby can be heard crying, and it seems like it’s a very young newborn. Anna is the only Duggar with a newborn baby, so maybe she felt like she needed to make the announcement quickly before someone else leaked it.
On Reddit, Duggar Snarks are speculating. One writes, “I just noticed in a thread on this sub about jessa’s newest video, snarkers commented they heard a newborn cry at the end of the video. Anna posted the announcement like 10 or less minutes after that comment.”
Another adds, “It’s T-14 days till the trial. Anna thought we needed a wholesome distraction. Unfortunately, all she got were very happy snarkers enjoying the irony of her kids name.”
There is no way to know for sure why Anna announced the birth today, but she seemed to think it was time to share the news.
So, do you think Anna Duggar was left with no choice but to announce her baby’s birth? Or do you think she wanted to announce it on Tuesday for some reason? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
