‘Storage Wars’: What Happened To Jarrod Schulz?
There is a new season of Storage Wars, but Jarrod Schulz has been mainly a no-show. What happened to Jarrod Schulz, Brandi Passante’s ex-partner?
When Did Jarrod Schulz, Brandi Passante Split?
Jarrod Schulz and Brandi Passante are no longer partners in life or business. When did the former Storage Wars super-couple split? According to a June 2020 interview on the Dad Diary, Brandi revealed that they split in the fall of 2018.
Brandi went on to explain that she likes to keep her private life, private. However, she is not interested in dating right now. She considers herself a “single mom” to her two children with Schulz.
Although the two teens are not interested in being on her social media, her time is mostly spent with them. Jarrod is rarely in the picture. On the reality show set, the two have shown a lot of animosities, and eventually worse. It was not that long ago that Brandi encountered Jarrod, and it was a frightening experience.
Has Brandi Passante’s Ex Jarrod Schulz ever been Charged With Domestic Abuse?
Back in April 2020, Jarrod walked into an Orange County bar. He was accused of pushing Brandi twice. According to TMZ, they reported that Jarrod denied any wrongdoing. The Storage Wars star’s attorney also shared that he would not take a plea deal unless the charges were totally dismissed.
He was charged with domestic abuse. His case was to go to trial on July 12, 2021. However, there has been no news released on this. Was the court date moved? Or, were there charges dropped? Lastly, it is always possible that he took a plea deal.
Jarrod Schulz Previously Spent Time In Jail
Prior to Storage Wars, and even before he met Brandi Passante, Jarrod Schulz had spent some time in jail. According to a 2012 Starcasm investigation, Schulz had spent 16 months in prison. This stemmed from a January 27, 1997 felony possession of a controlled substance.
However, for that violation, he got 60-days. That was supersized when he got out for probation, and a week later was arrested for driving under the influence and transporting narcotics. The judge was not too keen on strike two. The result was the verdict of 16 months in jail.
The publication cited another, unidentified source, as saying that this was a wake-up call. “Living alongside the murderers and rapists made him realize he was going down the same path. He’s not a bad guy. He went through a dark few years there and drugs were at the root.”
Storage Wars seemed to be the catalyst for keeping his life on the straight and narrow.
Has Storage Wars Star Brandi Passante Been In Trouble With The Law?
Brandi had her own issues. In October 2007, the Storage Wars star was charged with driving while drunk. She pleaded guilty. Brandi paid the $390 in fines and attended a three-month program for first-time alcohol offenders.
Since then, Brandi Passante has not had any other legal altercations. Instead, she has been busy being a mom, a reality star, and an Instagram influencer.
