‘Animal Kingdom’: When Will The Final Season Air?

About Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom is a crime drama. The series is an adaptation of an Australian film from 2010 with the same name. Initially, the movie premiered at Sundance. The series began on TNT in 2016
The series is about J, 17, that ends up with his grandmother, Smurf Cody, and uncles after his mother dies. Don’t expect Smurf to be in the kitchen baking pies, because she is in the final voice of authority for the criminal operations the family is involved in.
The storyline of Season 5 revolves around the police trying to track J, Craig, Deran, and Pope. Eventually, detectives get a lead. Things get tenser when they discover Catherine Blackwell’s body.
Fans respond to the Season 6 trailer
Luckily, fans didn’t have to wait long to get confirmation that there will be a sixth season of Animal Kingdom. The series takes to Twitter to share the Season 6 trailer. Unfortunately, Season 6 is the final season of the series.

When will the final season of Animal Kingdom air
In Season 6, Animal Kingdom fans get to see younger versions of their favorite characters. Specifically, Pope, Julia, and Baz will be younger. Another major part of Season 6 will be Penny getting closer with J.
Distractify reports that filming for Season 6 is done, but there is some post-production work that needs to be done. Furthermore, TNT usually releases the new installments between May and July. That being said, fans can expect Season 6 to air sometime in summer 2022.
