Kelly Dodd Deletes Post Making Light Of Suicide After MAJOR Backlash – See Her Controversial Post
Months after getting fired from Bravo for her controversial comments, Kelly Dodd is at it again. The former RHOC star came under fire after making an insensitive post regarding a man’s attempted suicide. Keep reading to see her now-deleted Instagram post.
Kelly Dodd enjoys wine tasting with husband
Getting fired from RHOC wasn’t all bad for Dodd. It gives her more free time to spend with her husband, former news anchor Rick Leventhal.
Leventhal is familiar to Fox News viewers as a correspondent for over 20 years. However, after marrying Dodd, he left Fox News to relocate to California.
To help replace their respective incomes, the pair started a Patreon podcast where they can share their opinions without losing their jobs.
RHOC alum leaves insensitive comment on NY Post social media
Kelly Dodd was fired from RHOC due to her controversial comments about the coronavirus pandemic. She dismissed it as a mild flu, and also said the deaths were just God’s way of thinning the herd.
While she apologized for those comments, she seems to still believe in what she said. The NY Post shared a photo on Instagram of a man who survived after falling from a high-rise building and landing on a car.
It’s widely believed that the man was attempting suicide.
One thing about the photo caught the eye of many – the face mask hanging off one ear. Kelly Dodd noticed the mask and left a comment joking that the masked saved his life.
However, her comment didn’t get much attention, so she took it over to her own Instagram feed.
Kelly Dodd shares news article with new commentary
Late Thursday night, Kelly Dodd shared a screenshot of the NY Post article and her initial comment. However, she added a second comment, writing “This guy tried to kill himself [NY Post IG tag] who knew the masks do save lives !!”
Fans DRAG former reality star for gross behavior
Some of Kelly Dodd’s followers thought the post was funny. However, others flooded Dodd with negative reactions, saying it was low, even by her standards.
The RHOC alum has since deleted the post, but we managed a screengrab, as seen up above. While the post on her own Instagram feed is gone, her comment on the original NY Post story still remains.
