Olivia Plath Shares Vulnerable Video: ‘I’m Human Too’
Welcome to Plathville star Olivia Plath isn’t afraid to be open and honest on social media. She often tells her fans what she’s really going through, and they appreciate that. She doesn’t come across as fake, they think.
In a new social media post, Olivia got even more vulnerable with her fans, showing them that she’s a human too. She created an Instagram Reel, which is a short video.
In the video, she shows photos of what she looks like online alongside photos of what she looks like in real life. She writes, “No matter what social media leads us to believe, we are all imperfect people trying to figure life out as we go 🤍 You are not alone. I’m human too. 💜”
One slide reads, “This posed portrait where I’m sucking my stomach in can also look like…” Then, on the next slide, she completes the message, writing, “Side rolls when I lay down because I’m human.”
Other slides in the video include Olivia’s mental health struggles, her insecurities and unhealthy relationship with food, and her less flattering angles in photos.
She ends the video with a photo of herself in front of a waterfall. She writes, “I’m human. Social media is often a highlight reel, but just know you aren’t alone. We all cry, we all break sometimes, we all have imperfect bodies, and we are doing the best we can.”
Olivia Plath’s followers appreciate the new video.
Olivia’s comments section is filled with positive comments from her followers. They are thanking her for being transparent and using her platform to positively influence others. They think she is amazing for being so open with fans.
Plenty of Olivia’s followers can relate to her post, as many of them have similar feelings. Olivia wants everyone to feel less alone and to know that everybody goes through ups and downs in life. Fans have gotten to see what her life looks like on the Plath family’s show, Welcome to Plathville. The show has given fans a closer look at Olivia’s rocky relationship with her in-laws.
