‘The Talk’ Reportedly Wants To Replace Carrie Ann Inaba With A Man
If you loved watching Carrie Ann Inaba on The Talk, we have some unfortunate news to share. Page Six recently heard from an exclusive source that her time on the show is over. She recently left to focus on her health and doesn’t plan to return. Now, The Talk is looking for a man to replace her.
“They haven’t announced it, but Carrie Ann is not returning, and they’ve been trying out comics and athletes to take her place,” an anonymous source apparently told Page Six.
The Talk moves forward without a few familiar faces
Sharon Osbourne and Carrie Ann Inaba have been part of The Talk for years, so fans will have to adjust to the new faces. Jerry O’Connell took over Sharon Osbourne’s spot and it seems like the network really wants another man on the show.
Carrie Ann Inaba does struggle with a myriad of health issues, but Page Six reports that isn’t the only reason she’s leaving The Talk for good. She also apparently didn’t love the way the network dealt with Sharon’s views on race.
“After the incident, they brought in a diversity and inclusion agency to help repair the situation, and Carrie Ann openly griped that she was being punished for things while she was out. She returned to a new environment, and she also didn’t like that the show is starting to tackle more serious issues,” the anonymous source told the publication.
Page Six could not get in touch with any of Carrie Ann Inaba’s representatives.
Carrie Ann Inaba will be back on our TV screens regardless
In the meantime, it does appear Carrie Ann Inaba will return to Dancing With The Stars this fall, even if she’s leaving The Talk for good.
The DWTS judge battled COVID-19 last December. She recovered, but contracting the virus on top of her other health concerns almost certainly took a toll on her.
“I’m on day six or seven of my journey with COVID … I’ve leveled out, knock on wood,” the DWTS judge said at the time on social media. “I still can’t smell and I still can’t taste some things. The taste comes and goes depending on the hour and what the food is. One day I can taste it, and the next day I can’t.”
Right now, fans can fully expect to see her on DWTS but things change. You’ll just have to stay tuned to see what happens next.
