‘Kuroko’s Basketball’ Season 3: Netflix Release Date, What To Expect
Kuroko’s Basketball is based on a Japanese sports manga series. The manga is written and illustrated by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. Fujimaki is also known for his golf-based sports manga Robot x LaserBeam. Both mangas are serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Kuroko’s Basketball is so popular that it has sequel series, a movie, stage plays, and video games. Not only that, but the anime is available in over 30 countries. Season 3 is already available in South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. However, there seems to be some discrepancy in the number of episodes. South Korea has 76 episodes, while the other countries with Season 3 only have 75.
What is Kuroko’s Basketball?
Kuroko’s Basketball Seasons 1 & 2. During 2012 and 2015, it was one of the most popular sports animes. The series follows a group of middle school basketball players. However, things get interesting when the group of five end up at different high schools. Netflix describes the series as follows.
Five middle school basketball stars went to separate high schools, and now Tesuya Kuroko and Seirin High are making their play for glory.”
One of the main characters is Kuroko. What’s On Netflix reminds viewers that Kuroko is the sixth member of “The Generation of Miracles.” He ends up joining the Seirin High School Basketball Club.
Also on the Seirin High School Basketball club is Taiga Kagami. Together, Kuroko and Taiga experience great success. However, they have to figure out the other five “miracles.” Ultimately, the plot is a high school basketball team trying to get to the national tournament.
What is the Season 3 release date?
At the time of this writing, there is no definitive release date for Kuroko’s Basketball. However, What’s On Netflix instructs fans on how they can be in the know about when this and other Netflix favorites drop.
