Myrka Cantu Done With ‘Unexpected’? Open To Joining THIS Reality Show
Myrka Cantu has been hinting for a few months now that she is leaving TLC’s Unexpected. Did her recent Instagram Stories settle the question once and for all? Is the young mom completely done with reality TV? The answer may surprise you.
Myrka Cantu Hinting at Exit
Myrka Cantu was not ready for the ins and outs of reality television. She first gained followers during the Season 4 premiere of Unexpected. On the show, her mother seemed to disown her teenage daughter for getting knocked up. However, in recent Q&A sessions, Myrka has hinted that what viewers saw wasn’t the real truth.
In fact, she claims that she was NEVER not speaking to her mother, despite the on-screen drama. Furthermore, she alleges that it wasn’t her decision to apply to be on the show. She has yet to elaborate on that bombshell.
It seems clear that she is disillusioned with TLC. She addressed it once again during her recent question and answer sesh with her followers.
Did She Just Confirm She Won’t Return to Unexpected?
Myrka Cantu is extremely open with her fans. She recently revealed that her relationship with Ethan Ybarra is over. She won’t give many details about the split. But she is open about if viewers will see her on Season 5 of Unexpected.
As it stands now, Myrka does not plan to return to the show. Instagram account @tlcunexpected shared a screenshot of Myrka Cantu’s fan interaction. The fan asked if Myrka is on next season.
Her response is not visible. However @tlcunexpected wrote in the caption that Myrka said she was NOT returning. TLC has yet to reveal any plans for a new season.

Could Myrka Cantu Pop Up on THIS Reality Show Instead?
Myrka Cantu has made it clear she does not want to return to Unexpected. But could she pop up on another show about teen pregnancy? If she has her way, yes.
During a Q&A last week, she told fans that she is open to joining another reality show. One of her followers asked Myrka if she would do MTV’s Teen Mom if asked. Myrka Cantu had a simple reply: Yes.
It’s unclear if MTV knows that Myrka Cantu wants to appear on the reality show. Her daughter, Attalie, turns one next month. She plans to throw a big party, even inviting her ex, Ethan. Viewers would likely love to see footage of the birthday party.
