On Instagram, Tori shared a photo of a cross-stitched family photo. It features Tori, Zach, and their kids, Jackson, 3, and Lilah, 1. To the left of them is another cross-stitched figure of Jesus holding a baby. It reads, “For I hold you by your right hand. Isaiah 41:13” In front of the cross stitch is a positive pregnancy test.
In her post, she reveals that the family was excited to announce that they were expecting baby number 3. They planned to make the announcement this week. Instead, they had to share the sad news that they lost the baby. She said they went to get their first ultrasound at 8 weeks but had lost the baby at 6 weeks.
Then, she writes:
“I’ve honestly never felt loss like I did in that moment. I’ve never felt so sad, angry, and scared in a single moment. I had no symptoms of losing out sweet angel baby and nothing could have prepared me for hearing our sweet baby was gone.
However, I also thought about how the first face our little girl or boy got to see was Jesus. I’m so upset that I never got to see their face but I rest in knowing he or she is with our savior and I will meet them one day.”
