7 Little Johnstons Season 6 ended with a cliffhanger, so maybe we should assume a new season will come along.  Of course, they may just bring one episode back, but for now, assume it’s a long wait to find out what happened with Trent going to the ER. The cliffhanger came in the finale episode titled, A Prom Kiss & A Prom Diss. Were any fans expecting Trent to end up in the ER?

7 Little Johnstons ends in the worst possible way ‘to be continued’

The ending of the very short season came as a shock to fans of 7 Little Johnstons across social media. What on earth does “To be continued” mean? After all, it’s a long wait before another season comes out. Also, this season came and went in a flash. Some fans hoped that next week the show would continue. One Facebooker user even noted a storm brought a power outage. Asking others what happened in the end, all they could say was, a big nothing burger happened! Trent went to the ER and the’s where it ended.

TV Shows Ace reported back in April, that Trent’s family had concerns over his health. Apparently, Trent went to the ER more than once, and the family wrote about it on Facebook. The hashtags actually sounded quite scary, with “#bigdaddyisoverthepain,” “#testsandmoretests,” and “#3ervisitsin4months” used. Back then, they also noted, “Hopefully, we find out some answers.” Well, let’s assume that Trent landing up at the ER at the end of the season brings us better news in another season.

Trent’s admission to the ER cliffhanger probably means we can expect another season

Ahead of this season of 7 Little Johnstons, we heard whispers of marriage problems between Trent and Amber. Amber later addressed all of that. Although they did have some issues, it seems they righted their relationship. As Bustle reminds us, Amber noted, “We honestly have always…been a team. “She said that she and Trent “know that a relationship, parenting, and marriage is a constant work in progress. With both of us feeling that and knowing that we don’t give up.“

So, if there’s no divorce in sight, fans wondered where the show would take us next. Now, in the light of the cliffhanger ending with Trent at the ER, we can at least guess. The show might very well resume with some of Trent’s medical issues. Bear in mind that the show’s more than just watching cute kids grow up. It also educates people about dwarfism and their physical challenges.

  1. I hope they will return, they have a good and positive show of a family that works together.. setting good examples for todays families. It doesn’t matter how they ended the season, that’s up to them…
