‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Reality Steve Reveals Matt James First Impression Rose Winner
Filming is underway for The Bachelor 2021 featuring Matt James. And, those who can’t wait until January to find out some information are in luck. While it may be harder to get spoilers since the season is filming at a resort, Reality Steve is on the case. And, he has already found out who Matt’s first impression rose winner is.
Matt’s first impression rose
Reality Steve went to his blog to share details about who won Matt’s first impression rose. So made a good first impression? That would be Abigail Heringer. The 25-year-old is from Salem Oregon. According to Steve, she is a financial manager at the Opus Agency. And, she graduated from Linfield College in 2017 with a B.S. in Finance.
Another interesting fact about Abigail is she was born deaf. However, she has cochlear implants. This is a pretty fascinating backstory and Matt must have been impressed too. Her Instagram account is currently private, but Steve posted photos on his blog for all to see. And, he is predicting she will be fan favorite once the season starts airing.

His season is well under way
According to Steve, Matt has already completed three rose ceremonies. Rob Mills, an executive for ABC, says filming is going great for Matt. Per Variety he said, “It was so interesting because Matt is not on the season of ‘The Bachelorette,’ and the reason why we take leads from a previous season is because you know them so well and we can predict which person he might like or not, but we just didn’t know at all, so it was really fun to watch him interact with everyone. And the women were so fantastic. It couldn’t have gone better.”
The show started filming somewhere around October 10. And, just like Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette there will be no travel. Everything will be shot at a resort in Pennsylvania. If all goes well Matt and the ladies should wrap up filming somewhere around Thanksgiving.
However, Mills said, “The resort in Pennsylvania is absolutely stunning. We’re very lucky that this resort is massive because it’s conducive for all different types of dates at multiple locations.”
And, they shared just as they did for Clare’s season, extra contestants were brought in so if someone tested positive for Covid they would have replacements. It was made clear some men tested positive for Clare’s season and were sent home before appearing on the season. Matt’s season will be the same. If a female tests positive she will be sent home. The production crew is doing their best to ensure everyone’s safety.
If all goes as planned, Matt’s season will air in January 2021. Stay tuned for more details.
