Joy Duggar Accused Of Harming Her Kids In New Photo
Joy-Anna Forsyth and her sister-in-law Lauren Duggar took their kids to pick peaches recently. Joy documented the outing via social media, but Lauren has stayed silent about it so far. This could be due to her possibly hiding a pregnancy or because she wants to avoid getting backlash over the family ignoring coronavirus guidelines. The family often gets backlash on social media, which is a part of being in the public eye.
Nonetheless, the women got some hate on Joy’s social media post. Some Counting On fans are worried about the family’s possible exposure to the coronavirus, but others are talking about another safety concern.
Duggar fans call Joy out for endangering her kids
In one of the photos that Joy shared, her two kids are sitting in a basket together. Two-year-old Gideon is holding his newborn sister, Evelyn, in the basket.
After Joy shared the picture, fans began to express concern over whether it’s safe for the kids to be in the basket like that. One Instagram user writes, “That basket was a bad idea.” A few other fans are mentioning the same concerns. Over on Reddit, Duggar critics are talking about how dangerous it could be for the kids if the basket tips over.
Other fans support Joy’s decision
In response to fans’ concerns about Joy’s kids’ safety, other fans are defending her decision. They are pointing out that many parents and photographers take pictures of children in baskets. They also encourage the haters to stop “mom-shaming.”
Plus, plenty of fans of the family think that the pictures of the kids are adorable. They think the siblings look sweet together in the basket. They also think that Gideon is a great big brother.
Fortunately, it looks like Gideon and Evelyn are safe following the picture. But this definitely is not the first time fans have been concerned about Gideon’s and Evelyn’s safety. Austin Forsyth recently faced backlash for throwing Gideon too high in the air during a photoshoot.

Also, amid the coronavirus pandemic, Joy and Austin have been social with friends and family members, sharing it publicly. This continues to feed fans’ concerns that Gideon and Evelyn may not be totally safe.
