The relapse happened during the COVID pandemic when everyone was struggling with mental health. Kelly Osbourne revealed in a documentary about Friends star Matthew Perry’s death that she had been in rehab seven different times in her life.

“First rehab I went to was like university on how to be a better drug addict. I’d learned so many tricks, so many things that I never even thought of from my fellow addicts that were in there,” she said in TMZ Investigates: Matthew Perry and the Secret Celebrity Drug Ring.

She Reveals Teen Drug Use Fault Of Late Father

Kelly Osbourne recently moved back to the UK a year after her father’s death. While her parents were born in England, the family lived in Los Angeles for years. Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne were regular hangouts at the legendary Sunset Marquis hotel in Hollywood, California. The hotel was a haven for the rich and famous.

What happened in the hotel was always a mystery, until now. If These Walls Could Rock exposes the level of debauchery and illicit drug use that went on in the iconic landmark. Actor Billy Bob Thornton narrates the documentary with interviews from some of the most famous musicians, including Bruce Springsteen, Slash from Guns N’ Roses, and Gene Simmons. Kelly and Sharon Osbourne share their experiences from their time at the hotel.

Kelly Osbourne was just a teenager during the years her parents were regulars at the hotel. In fact, she revealed in the documentary that she did her first line of cocaine in the Sunset Marquis. “I had my first drink in this hotel. I had my first kiss in this hotel,” she said.

“I did my first line of cocaine in this hotel… which was given to me by one of my dad’s friends in a very, very, very big band, and I could never tell my parents because they would f**king kill him,” Kelly Osbourne revealed.

Sharon Osbourne recalled how Ozzy Osbourne felt at home at the hotel. “We’d be kicked out of everywhere, but not the Sunset Marquis. My dad could misbehave politely here,” his daughter shared.

The Sunset Marquis is still open today. If These Walls Could Rock is available to stream on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
