‘LIVE With Kelly & Mark’ Introduces Exciting Twist For New Season
Live With Kelly and Mark is back for Season 39, and fans are ready and raring to go. Moreover, Kelly Ripa is thrilled to be back for her 26th season, having taken over for Kathie Lee Gifford. A Fun Twist For The New Season
Live With Kelly and Mark is back for another season, and fans are thrilled to see what shenanigans will ensue. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos always have interesting stories to share with their audience. Moreover, Kelly was absent for quite some time due to gum graft surgery, so she is back and better than ever. As with most talk shows, they want to keep it fun and fresh, which can be a challenge. That being said, they are introducing a twist that will shake the show up.
Along with trivia, there is a short segment called “Stump Mark.” Before the big prize can be up for grabs, the caller will ask Mark two questions from a previous show. He needs to get them right, or the caller will receive “Stump Mark” merchandise. It is an interesting way to turn the show on the hosts, given that they do this to the audience members. That is a big part of the talk show: expecting viewers to recall small details from the episode before, and it is not always easy.
It was Mark who introduced the new Live With Kelly and Mark twist:
“We have a new twist. I’ve been the one reading our callers’ statements. But now, the pressure is on our callers, who will now reveal their two statements to me. I’ll be listening very carefully for crackle in their voice, a suspicious pause, a nervous laugh. And if they stump me, they will win the all-new ‘I Stumped Mark’ T-shirt and mug.”
Having A Good Time
Mark Consuelos shared that he and his family had a good time during the Live hiatus. Of course, Kelly Ripa was miserable after her surgery and was not allowed to speak. However, they are back for another season and are ready to have some fun. The couple shares three children and has been married for three decades. Although they bicker, it makes for good television and a great talk show.
