Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s son, KJ, 15, is still locked up until his next court date on September 9th. That being said, he would likely love nothing more than to be released and head home to be with his family. However, that could ultimately end up being his worst nightmare. So, why would that be? Keep reading for more details.

Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann’s Son May Want To Stay Locked Up

KJ Biermann was arrested on August 17th for alleged sexual battery of a minor. Although his mother, Kim Zolciak, denied that this ever happened, he remained locked up until his September 1st court date. She was spotted traveling with her boyfriend while his father, Kroy Biermann, was active with his siblings. Then, KJ was indicted on seven felony charges and will remain in Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center. His next court date is September 9th.

As much as he may want to be at home with his family and away from the detention center, it may be more of a nightmare. Allegedly, he would be under a microscope and under very strict restrictions. Former prosecutor Lindsay Richards, who is not affiliated with this case at all, shared some insight as to what KJ could expect:

“I think there’s a likelihood he’ll be released and he will have a lot of conditions of his release. I think he’ll be on a GPS. He’ll probably be on house arrest, having to do school at home.”

Furthermore, he may have to undergo therapy and register in educational classes before the trial is set to begin. So, as much as being at home with Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak seems like the better alternative, he might want to think twice.

What Could KJ’s Future Hold?

It has been reiterated that the fact that KJ was held until his first court appearance was not a great sign. Then, being held until his next is equally scary. Despite Kim Zolciak saying that there is no proof and that the alleged victim fabricated the whole story, it all looks suspicious to the outside. Prosecutor Lindsay Richards stated that KJ Biermann could be looking at a lengthy prison sentence if convicted. Moreover, remaining locked up makes her believe there is more to the story than the public knows:

“Not releasing him into the custody of his parents with electronic monitoring of some kind, that surprises me for this young of a kid.”

Do you think that KJ is in for a rude awakening if and when he gets released? Finally, are you surprised he is still in the detention center? Let us know your thoughts about this case in the comments below.
