Ann Curry Spent 25 Years Working For NBC News, Being Part Of Today & Dateline NBC
Curry is a retired journalist. She previously gained recognition for her work with NBC News, having joined in 1990, originally as a Chicago-based correspondent.
Working for the network for around 25 years, Curry served as an anchor for Today and Dateline NBC. Ultimately, Curry left in 2015, founding her own media startup.
Even though she is retired, Curry has let fans know what’s going on in her life at times on social media. This has ranged from projects around the world to meeting with up-and-coming journalists.
Recently, Curry shared a selfie as she rode a train. As she shared in a caption, “Amtrak selfie! On my way to talk about journalism ethics with students in @asanfuentes Politics and Media class @americanuniversity.”

As she headed to Washington, D.C., Curry looked just as stylish as back when she worked on The Today Show. Donning a sweater and black sunglasses, she also showed off gray locks styled with a chic look.
Despite occasionally sharing with fans. Curry is known to lead a largely private life. As noted by Parade, she made a rare public appearance last fall, when she hit the red carpet at Equality Now’s Make Equality Reality Gala 2025 at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York City.
