Kelly Clarkson Leaves Fans Emotional Over Talk Show’s Series Finale

Kelly Clarkson is back for the series finale of her talk show, and although viewers knew that this was coming, they are still broken over it. Now, the finale date has been revealed, and fans have been overcome with emotion. Keep reading for all of the sentimental messages they are sharing with Kelly amid her departure from daytime.

Kelly Clarkson Has Had A Great Run

After seven seasons and two locations, Kelly Clarkson decided it was time to hang up her talk show hat. The mother of two is a Jill of all trades, and she has explored so many avenues. Yet, she knew that she wanted to be even more present for her kids, River and Remy. They lost their father in 2025, Kelly’s ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, to cancer. Therefore, that may have played into her decision. Additionally, she has been doing brief residencies, which fans have loved, releasing new singles, and coaching on The Voice.

Some viewers were upset with the abundance of repeats for the talk show during the summer. However, the time has come to say goodbye for good, and with that comes nostalgia and sadness. On The Kelly Clarkson Show’s social media, they shared a three-photo montage noting that the series finale would be Monday, August 31st. This makes it real and something that many never actually thought would happen. The first snap showed Kelly singing, while the last was her and her children, who were all grown up.

Immediately after this post went up, fans got extremely emotional and wanted Kelly Clarkson to know how much she meant to them. Not just her, but her long-running talk show:
