Several Bravolebs have admitted that they do not watch their own seasons before heading to the reunion. This irks their castmates and viewers because they feel that they should know what happened and what was said about them before jumping on the stage. Now, reunion host and Real Housewives EP Andy Cohen is breaking his silence on how he feels when stars don’t watch their episodes. Keep reading for more on what he had to say.

Bravolebs Have Lived Their Seasons

A lot happens at reunions, and there are many questions asked, some that can only be answered by watching the show. The cast will talk behind each other’s backs, especially in confessionals and at events. Therefore, it is essential to try to watch every episode before heading into a reunion. Yet, several Bravolebs have admitted that they lived their season, so they do not have to watch it back. Moreover, they were not in a great place, or they did not have the time. This can frustrate their co-stars and Andy Cohen, who hosts reunions.

Recently, a fan asked Andy how he “honestly” felt when a Bravoleb came to the reunion and had not watched their own season. To that, Andy had this to say:

  • It’s not my preference but I feel like showing up at the reunion is hard when you’ve had a terrible season. So I give them credit for showing up to face the music at least.

For reference, Ariana Madix did not watch her final season of Vanderpump Rules, Season 11. She claimed that she was far too busy with positive things and did not want to go back to a difficult mental space.

Scheana Shay, also of Vanderpump fame, only watched her scenes at times. The Valley star Luke Broderick just shared that he has not watched Season 3. After so much backlash from her romance with West Wilson, Amanda Batula did not watch Season 10 of Summer House. It would be interesting if Andy Cohen made it mandatory to watch certain episodes, at least.

Watching Should Be A Must

Bravo viewers felt that watching the seasons should be a must to come to the reunions. Maybe Andy Cohen was a tad more sympathetic, but fans were not. They felt it somewhat ruined the experience for viewers when the cast had no idea what was going on:

  • The cast NOT watching the show ruins the experience of the reunion for the viewers – who are the reason for the show. Satisfied viewers = ratings. They should be required to watch. The excuses get them out of taking full accountability.
  • Coward! Luke is not man enough to watch the show because he doesn’t want to take accountability for his behavior! It’s easier to stick his head in the sand.
  • Note to Andy: these shows suck! And its been that way for a looooonnngggg time. Dont expect viewers to watch if even the losers dont watch their own BS. They know its all fake and scripted etc

Many even noted how the cast used to have to write weekly blogs in reference to each episode. Therefore, it was almost mandatory to watch the shows. That has since changed, and it is sad. Do you think Andy Cohen and Bravo should find a way to force the casts to watch the shows as part of their contracts? Let us know in the comments below.
