Stassi Schroeder Being Compared To ‘Mommy Dearest’
House of Stassi topped the Hulu charts as viewers were thrilled to see Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder back on their screens. At the same time, there was a narcissistic side to her that could be off-putting. She has been doing a lot of press regarding her series and opened up about her relationship with her daughter, Hartford. While doing so, it made fans fear for Hartford, even calling Stassi ‘Mommy Dearest.’ Keep reading for more details.
Stassi Schroeder Has Lost Respect
When Stassi Schroeder was fired from Vanderpump Rules, many felt it was necessary. Yet, she stated that her world crumbled when she was canceled. She was pregnant; she lost her show and her podcast; it was a struggle to survive. However, Lisa Vanderpump always felt that there was something more to Stassi and never believed she should have been fired. Ultimately, they went on to work together again, Stassi wrote two more books, and revived her career. She then got her own show, House of Stassi, and fans were thrilled to see her back in action.
Recently, Stassi was doing press and spoke about her daughter, Hartford. She is five, and they get along now, but when she was born, it was not the best initial meeting. Stassi believed that she and her daughter knew each other from a past life, and maybe it was not a great interaction:
“When I had Hartford, she came out side-eyeing me, like, I felt the energy of someone who’s just like, ‘Not you again.'”
The 38-year-old went on to note that Hartford favored Stassi Schroeder’s husband, Beau, and there was something uncomfortable between the mother-daughter duo:
“She always, I could feel her like, her energy resisting me, and like, I could see her wheels turning, like her thinking about, like, ‘Why is she being like this?’ I just feel it.”

Fortunately, Hartford has warmed up to her mother over time. However, after followers heard this story, they were appalled. One person had this to say:
- What in the mommy dearest?
Many also feared for Hartford as they felt that Stassi had something wrong with her for even thinking this. At the same time, someone stated that kids and animals can sense when someone is not right in the head.
Not A Normal Situation
Stassi Schroeder has always been obsessed with the paranormal and supernatural. Beau Clark even proposed in a cemetery. However, speaking about her daughter’s sixth sense made fans feel uncomfortable. Yet, after how Stassi behaved during Season 1 of House of Stassi, many agreed with Hartford’s assessment of her being a cold mother:
- Hartford is very insightful. I just feel so sorry for her to know, at her age, that her mother is a cold b*tch.
- Stassi’s mother always painfully reminded me of my own mother, who hated me openly but somehow also managed to play the victim of it all. Sad to see Stassi repeating the cycle so confidently. Her poor daughter doesn’t have a chance to be healthy because her mother is so mentally ill and refuses to admit it.
- Even her own kid does not like her. Welcome little girl to the club. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
- This is sad and conserning😔 Somehow I thought Beau was catholic, he can’t possible approve of this? Poor child 🥺🙏🙏🙏
