Kyle Richards' Ex Put Family In Danger, Final Straw In Marriage

Kyle Richards and her husband of almost thirty years, Mauricio Umansky, have been separated for over three years. However, they have not taken any legal steps toward divorce despite actively dating other people. Now, Mauricio has put their family in danger, and that could be the nail in the coffin. Kyle Richards Still Hasn’t Pulled The Plug

There have been many questions as to why Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are not legally divorced. They have not even taken the steps to make their split legal, which has made fans wonder if they could reconcile. Initially, it made sense as their youngest daughter, Portia, was still a minor. Therefore, maybe they were waiting until she turned eighteen to file. She is now eighteen and headed off to the University of Colorado, so that excuse is null and void. Mauricio has had several girlfriends and dalliances since the split, while Kyle allegedly dated country singer Morgan Wade.

They have seemingly had many dealbreakers that could have officially ended their marriage. However, Kyle Richards just revealed that Mauricio put their family in danger, and that could be the nail in the coffin. Mauricio and their daughter, Alexia Umansky, will be featured on Season 5 of Special Forces. It is incredibly intense, and the only way to leave the competition is to choose to leave, be medically disqualified, or fail toward the end. When Kyle learned that Alexia was competing, she was done:

“My first thought was, ‘I’m going to kill you, Mauricio.’ I was actually not happy at all.”

She felt that Mauricio was incredibly competent and would do just fine, but did not want her girls involved at all:

“I was so worried about Alexia. I knew that [Mauricio] would do well or whatever (lol), but I was really worried about my daughter. I didn’t like that she got sucked into that.”

Alexia Is Kyle’s Mini

After RHOBH fans read what Kyle Richards had to say about Alexia Umansky joining Special Forces, they had to laugh. Many felt that she was Kyle’s mini and wanted the fame, just like her mother. Therefore, her being on the show was a natural progression. At the same time, they found it interesting how Kyle was able to make her daughter and her ex joining the FOX series all about her and her anxiety:

Poor Kyle!!! Her crippling anxiety is in overdrive between worrying about whether Alexia gets hurt and if Alexia loves her Dad more than her Mom 🙄

Judging by her IG account, Alexia loves the fame. Kyle taught her well and is now regretting it because Alexia might get more attention than her.

Kyle Richards did state that she lost sleep when Alexia and Mauricio were away filming. It will be fun to see how far they go. Special Forces premieres September 24th on FOX.
