'RHOC' Tamra Judge Gives Rare Update On Kids & Grandchild

Tamra Judge recently returned alongside The Real Housewives of Orange County as it entered its milestone Season 20 last month. She also recently gave fans an update about a lot of the people in her life. This included rare updates about her children and even her granddaughter.

Tamra Judge Joined The Real Housewives Of Orange County In Its Third Season

Judge became known to many as a cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County. She first appeared during the Bravo show’s third season in 2008.

Outside of the show, Judge has also is also known for the podcast series, Two Ts In A Pod, with former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. In addition to appearing on some of the show’s spin-offs, such as starring in the Tamra’s OC Wedding miniseries, she also appeared on the second season of The Traitors.

In a Bravo exclusive, Judge recently spoke with an insider, where she gave fans a rare update about her family. This even included an update about the youngest member of the family, her granddaughter.

Reportedly, Judge shared that her kids are doing “great.” She shared that she couldn’t be prouder of her children. These include sons Ryan Vieth and Spencer Barney and daughters Sophia Barney and Sidney Barney. In particular, “All the kids are doing great. They’ve all moved out of the house.”

As Judge explained, two of her kids are also in a position to be there for each other. She shared, “Spencer and Sophia live in the same apartment building, but not the same apartment. So they can watch over each other, ’cause they’re about 45 minutes away from me. Sophia’s going to school out there. Spencer graduated from the same college.”

Judge also shared an update on her son Ryan’s daughter, Ava. While reflecting on the passage of time, she shared, “Ava is 11 years old. That’s my granddaughter,” she noted. “Ryan’s doing amazing. I mean, I have a 40-year-old son now, which is crazy.”

Judge Opened Up About Working Alongside One Of Her Children

While Sophia is attending school, she is also working alongside her mother. The two have since launched a podcast, The Orange Doesn’t Fall Far, in June. Through the series, they talk about their lives, the world, and their relationship.

Tamra mused, “So Sophia has been just a natural performer since she was little. And we decided to do this podcast together. It’s called The Orange Doesn’t Fall Far. And we’re gonna be interviewing mom, daughter duos. Like, [The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s] Melissa Gorga and her daughter Antonia [Gorga]’s gonna come on and just talk about all things mother-daughter.”

Currently, The Real Housewives of Orange County is airing its 20th season, having premiered on July 9, 2026. In addition to Judge, cast members include Shannon Storms Beador, Heather Dubrow,  Vicki Gunvalson, and Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Jennifer Pedranti, and Carmella Garcia.
