‘Today’ Jenna Bush Hager Slaps Co-Host On Camera
There’s been a lot going on at Today recently. Following a crazed man entering the set and yelling racial slurs, Jenna Bush Hager is now slapping her co-host on camera. Keep reading to find out what exactly went down.
Drama At Today
The Today Show has had a heartbreaking and wild year. Earlier in the year, Savannah Guthrie’s mother went missing. The investigation has been ongoing for months, yet they still haven’t found her. This has left the whole family in agony as they live through a literal nightmare.
Then, a crazed man was not only able to enter the set, but also get close enough to the team to start yelling racial slurs. Of course, they’ve now changed their security protocols. However, that doesn’t make the situation any less intense.
Now, it seems like things are being taken ever further after co-hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones are unable to get along on camera. Their most recent falling out even included a slap.
Jenna And Sheinelle Are Fighting?
Things got heated on The Today Show. While talking about musical guests for the week, Sheinelle and Jenna ended up in a little tiff that has fans scratching their heads, wondering what exactly is going on between the two of them.
They started off by talking about how Mumford & Sons was there.
“You didn’t know them the way I knew them,” Jenna says about the band. Already, this is a wild statement. Sheinelle picks up on that instantly.
“I definitely didn’t know them the way you know them, and Jenna decided to share with them,” Sheinelle replies.
However, Jenna did not like that answer and went in to give her a seemingly playful slap, leaving Sheinelle backpedaling.
“I’m kidding, I’m kidding. Oh, I don’t mean it in that way!” She says. To which Jenna replies: “No, I know what you mean, and we’re not saying that. Remember? I got a text that said, ‘Don’t say that,’” she says.
After that, they go back to business as usual and pretend it never happened.
Obviously, this left fans even more confused. Needless to say, they came up with their own ideas on what they could be talking about.
Fans Start Speculating
With no idea what could truly be going on, fans have started guessing The Sun reports. One person even blames Jenna, as her energy seems so off recently.
- “I think she was hinting at something sexual with her and her husband, like they have sex to Mumford and Sons, and Sheinelle spilled the beans? And Henry told her not to say anything? That was ICY.”
- “Sheinelle was mildly annoyed with the slap Jenna gave her for opening her mouth, but she snapped out of it pretty quick. Jenna’s energy is OFF but can’t quite put my finger on it just yet.”
- “Wondering what that was about??”
There’s no telling what the two women were talking about. However, it seems if they don’t get it together soon, this could be a disaster.
