‘Unexpected’ Mia Quebedeaux Called Out For Ignoring Daughter
Unexpected fans really liked Mia Quebedeaux in Season 7, along with her father, Keith, and her boyfriend, Jessie. They did their best to make everything work smoothly, and that was highly respected. Yet, now that cameras are no longer rolling, it seems that Mia has changed, and now she is being called out for ignoring her daughter. Keep reading for more details on what is being said.
Mia Is Not Who She Once Was
The one thing about Mia Quebedeaux when she was on Unexpected was that she was a great student, and she was a hard worker. Not only did she have a job, but she also paid for her own baby shower. It was known that her mother struggled with substance abuse and was in and out of prison. Therefore, Mia was raised by her father, Keith, who quickly became a fan favorite. Viewers appreciated his tough love approach to Mia and her boyfriend, Jessie. Although he wanted to be there as much as possible, he would not let the children take advantage of him.
Mia graduated early from high school, their daughter, Oakleigh, was born, and Jessie was able to move in with the family. Unfortunately, the home burned down, but they have all worked through this together, with Jessie proposing to Mia. Despite all of this, Mia has been getting backlash for not taking care of her daughter. She has been seen a lot on social media, as many of the Season 7 mothers are. In a recent live, Jessie’s brother can be seen telling Mia to get off and take care of Oakleigh.
She snapped, and it was a new side of her that no one had seen yet. Immediately, Unexpected fans could not help but agree. They understand that Mia is only seventeen, but she should be spending a lot more time focusing on her daughter. At the same time, they are not with her 24/7, so they cannot say what she does the rest of the time with Oakleigh. Regardless, Mia is being deemed a lot ruder than she ever was prior, and that is a quick shift.
A New Person?
Mia is now being viewed as a whole new person and not who she pretended to be on Unexpected. She was sweet and kind, but that is not the vibe she is giving off in her live. Viewers immediately had a lot to say and did not hold back:
- Her getting aggressive and loud in front of her baby definitely isn’t making her look any better either. Baby was obviously startled.
- Ngl, she needs to get tf off of live and pay real attention to her baby. Just being in the same room and occasionally using her for content isn’t enough.
- I mean he’s not wrong. This girl seems to be on live literally 24/7. It’s weird as hell.

- Are we not gonna acknowledge how he was the one who said “take care of your baby” and then she reacted?? This seems kinda valid to me
At this point, maybe Mia will see what Unexpected followers are saying and try a little harder. Granted, the Louisiana teen has been through a lot, but she also has a great support system in her father. Hopefully, if she is having any postpartum problems, she will reach out to her dad or Jessie’s mother.
