Lori Loughlin spent three months in jail and nearly ruined her career after pleading guilty to charges related to bribing her kids’ way into college. Her then-husband, Mossimo Giannulli, also went to jail over the admissions scandal. The longtime couple announced in October 2025 that they were divorcing after nearly 30 years of marriage.
The When Calls The Heart star has kept a low profile in the years since her release from jail. However, she stepped out at several events in recent months. Her stunning appearance sparked speculation that she’d gotten a facelift.
Us Weekly caught up with Jodie Sweetin at an event this week and asked her about Lori Loughlin’s new look. She had a surprisingly shady response. “I haven’t seen her in a while, but I’m sure she looks absolutely amazing,” she said before throwing shade at Lori Loughlin’s ex.
“There’s nothing like dropping some dead weight to get you back out there looking cute,” Jodie Sweetin said with a wink. Finally, she went on to share admiration for Lori Loughlin and her lookalike daughter, Olivia. “Bless,” the Full House star said about the gorgeous mother-and-daughter duo.
John Stamos Slammed Co-Star’s Ex
Jodie Sweetin wasn’t the only Fuller House star to take a dig at Mossimo Giannulli. John Stamos shared his thoughts on Lori Loughlin’s separation from her husband. In an October 2025 podcast, he revealed that she was “devastated” by the separation.

“Whatever he did to her, it busted her up to the core. She put up with a lot over the years of this guy,” John Stamos said. “He’s a terrible narcissist.”
It’s clear that John Stamos and Jodie Sweetin are firmly on Lori Loughlin’s side in the split.
