‘RHOBH’ Kyle Richards Maintains Half Of The Agency Is Hers
RHOBH OG Kyle Richards and her husband of nearly thirty years, Mauricio Umansky, split in 2023. Yet, they have yet to file anything legally or dissolve their marriage. Kyle Married Mauricio With Nothing
When Kyle Richards married Mauricio Umansky, she was a divorced mother of one. They were getting by, but it was not easy. She shared the story of how he had lost his job, and then they committed to having a date night where they got their real estate licenses. Mauricio went on to work for his brother-in-law, Rick Hilton, before starting his own business, The Agency. It has 150 global offices and has been celebrated on the RHOBH many times. Now that Kyle and Mauricio are over, the big question is what they will each walk away with?
Since they had nothing when they got married in 1996 and built their lives from the ground up, they would have to split it all down the middle. According to Kyle, that means half of The Agency is hers. She has helped promote it for Mauricio and was always front and center at the big events. During part two of the Season 15 RHOBH reunion, Andy Cohen addressed Mauricio’s business. He asked if she would be asking for half of it. That was when Kyle laid it flat on the line and held nothing back:
“Well it’s mine. Half of it is mine.”
Kyle’s sister, Kathy Hilton, wanted to know if Mauricio understood what was happening. Had he any idea that he would be losing half of The Agency? Kyle Richards reiterated that Mauricio had absolutely nothing when they got married, so it was only fair:
“We built our lives together. He literally had two nickels when I married him.”

Because of Kyle Richards and her role on RHOBH, it is believed that Mauricio Umansky’s business was able to thrive. Her co-star, Amanda Frances, stated that he launched The Agency on the hit Bravo show. Therefore, all of the events helped to draw even more attention to Mauricio and his brand, leading to its immense success. He has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga, LeBron James, and Ben Affleck, just to name a few. At the same time, Kyle may say that this is what she would want from a divorce, but she seems happy with how they are operating. Time will tell what she actually asks for if and when they finally do divorce.
