‘GMA’ Janai Norman’s Ex Co-Hosts Share Tribute
Good Morning America viewers recently saw Janai Norman leave the show. However, she is certainly not forgotten, especially by her former co-workers. Recently, they helped her make a powerful share on social media.
Janai Norman Previously Joined Good Morning America Back In 2019
Norman was previously named a weekend co-anchor on Good Morning America back in July 2022. She joined the morning show back in 2019, working for the second hour on Saturdays.
Earlier this month, however, Norman was pulled off her weekend slot. Around this time, she took to social media to share that she would be leaving the program. Noting that she wasn’t going to be given the chance to offer a proper goodbye on the show, Norman’s comments suggested that the decision was also unexpected on her end.
Whit Johnson eventually took over Janai’s weekend anchor slot. In spite of the shakeup, a few of Janai’s co-workers, including Whit, recently took to social media to share their support.
In a post shared by Whit, Janai could be seen going out to dinner with her GMA crew and their partners. This included Whit Johnson, Gio Benitez, Andrea Fujii, Will Ganss, and Ariel Miller, as well as Janai’s husband, Eli.
Janai Herself Later Shared Her Love With Her ‘Crew’ In An Instagram Story
Whit captioned the post, “A night of laughter and love with this crew! Always a blast!” The carousel post opened up with the party sitting down at the table, smiling at the camera as they were enjoying their food. Two other photos were also shared, featuring Janai standing alongside her former co-workers.
Janai herself later shared a post showcasing the event during an Instagram Story. During the share, she proudly wrote, “This crew,” in large white letters, complete with a heart emoji.
With the posts being shared on social media, various fans have since been sharing their reactions. Many expressed how they already missed Janai being part of the show. Others were happy to see Janai still keep her friendships on the show. Some comments included:
