‘Unexpected’ Bella Birthing Babies Her Mother Always Wanted?
Unexpected fans are struggling with Bella Vaughn’s mother, Falen, and the way she enables her daughter. At this point, they are starting to think that she does not care if Bella keeps getting pregnant. That way, Bella can keep birthing the babies that Falen has always wanted. Falen Wants To Be A Teenager Again
From the moment Unexpected viewers met Falen and Bella Vaughn, they felt there was something off. Bella was just fifteen, and her boyfriend/baby daddy, Hunter Johnson, was only thirteen. That was eye-opening and shocking, almost exploitative, but at the same time, the young couple openly talked about sex. They shared how frequently they were intimate and how they could not keep their hands off each other. Yet, Bella would talk about how tired she was of Hunter and his immaturity. She would seemingly want to break up with him, but her mother, Falen, would not allow it.
That led fans to believe Falen had a thing for Hunter, which was just as disturbing as a thirteen-year-old father. On the Monday, April 6th, 2026 episode, Bella had to buy another pregnancy test, just a few weeks postpartum. Falen’s reaction was that Bella’s first son, Wes, would be hers because her daughter could not handle two babies. Bella disputed that, as she felt she could handle two kids, whereas Hunter could not. However, fans do not agree and believe that Falen wants Bella to keep having babies so that she can raise them. She never had any sons, so this is her chance to have the boys and feel young again:
- I think it’s more so because she’s always wanted a son.. and now wants Wes to be her son. This is why she enabled another pregnancy- she let this happen and she’s hoping it does secretly, so the can claim Wes as the son she never had. She’s sick
Then, other Unexpected viewers believe that there is a part of Falen that has teenage feelings for Hunter, which is a whole other can of worms.

The Arkansas-based family has so much going on with and against them at this point. They chose to put their lives on television, so if people come at them, it is par for the course. As aforementioned, Unexpected fans feel that Falen has a weird thing for Hunter, which cannot be validated. However, she allowed Bella and Hunter to shower a few days postpartum and giggled over them being intimate four days post C-section, many felt she was asking for another pregnancy:
- She’s living through her daughter so much and is in love with Hunter. She needs to be investigated.
- Sure, Falen. Let the kids go shower together now.
- There are SOOOO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THIS FAMILY, This is just one. The other most egregious is telling them to go shower together or encouraging it or not stopping it. Idk. This family is so f*cking disgusting
