David Letterman & Wife Shock Fans With New Rare Appearance
David Letterman has had a long career as a television personality. Despite this, he is famously quite private about his personal life. This made it all the more surprising when he and his wife made an appearance during a recent event in New York. In fact, the event proved to be a star-studded event.
David Letterman Has Shared His Name & Hosting Duties With Many Shows Over The Years
Letterman is a famous television personality, hosting late-night shows for decades. After hosting Late Night with David Letterman on NBC, he went on to host The Late Show with David Letterman on CBS. He is also known through the Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman.
In his personal life, Letterman married Regina Lasko in 2009 in Montana. The family lives in North Salem, New York.

One thing that’s a rarity for Letterman is red carpet appearances. For her part, appearances are even rarer for Lasko.
However, the couple recently made an exception to this during the red-carpet premiere of Lorne in New York City. The two even made sure to smile for the camera, as Letterman wrapped his arms around his beloved spouse.
Other Stars Were At The Event, Especially Ones Associated With A Certain Late-Night Show
Letterman would be seen wearing a black cap with a matching jacket. Lasko matched him with a black coat. However, she appeared to be wearing a checkered pattern underneath, while also holding a bag. Letterman could also be seen sporting a large white beard, something that has become his trademark in recent years, but might still surprise fans of his older shows.
The film is a documentary focusing on Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels. The piece is a star-studded work, featuring footage of stars including Tina Fey, Chris Rock, Conan O’Brien, and Maya Rudolph, among others.

In fact, the stars appeared to come out for the New York premiere. On the red carpet. As noted by Page Six, this included celebrities like Amy Schumer and Natasha Lyonne. Naturally, they were also joined by a few Saturday Night Live personalities, including Colin Jost, Andy Samberg, and, naturally, Lorne himself.
Reportedly, Lorne isn’t just the movie’s subject and namesake. He reportedly appears within the film itself.
The film is expected to be released in theatres on April 17, 2026. However, according to some sources, the film will only play on the date as a “one-day-only” event, with a YouTube trailer claiming that the film will only be “in theaters April 17.”
